TRANCE 2014
Presented at DAAP Fashion Show


Inspired by the Shamans of Eastern Europe and the German Fluxus artist Joseph Beuyes TRANCE is an investigation into the relationship between the chaos of existence and the process of healing. Each look in this collection includeds a piece that is hand woven and emulated the grotesque and ugly process most people go through when healing physical or emotional wounds. The spectrum of the collection moved from dark to light being an obvious reference to finding lightness through the process of healing. Each look comprised of a minimum of 3 pieces that all had to be worn together to create the image of one full look.
